Digital Media Designer

Story Partners, a Washington, DC -based public affairs firm, is seeking a Digital Media Designer to produce digital story telling campaigns through social media, photography and short-form video for multiple clients. 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to and working with the Creative Director, the Digital Media Designer will have responsibility for the following:

  • Design and produce high-quality visual designs to convey a story narrative through social media content, including animated and static online ads, email graphics, share graphics, motion graphics, interactive design, GIFs, memes, video and other multimedia products
  • Design and develop content for desktop, web and mobile devices
  • Produce new media content (video, motion graphics and audio production)
  • Manage and produce digital design work, including sizing and versioning
  • Create high-end graphics and multimedia content for high-visibility presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or related field
  • Minimum 3 years professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency
  • Strong portfolio of design work
  • Experience with animation, motion graphics, video editing and digital audio production
  • Proficient knowledge in video editing (Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, as well as MS PowerPoint
  • Website design & basic HTML coding experience preferred

Digital Strategist

Story Partners, a Washington, DC -based public affairs firm, is seeking a Digital Strategist to manage online and social media campaigns. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with community management, content strategy, online advertising, and social analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital and social media campaigns for clients across multiple platforms
  • Responsible for ongoing social community management, monitoring and reporting
  • Plan and execute online advertising and search engine marketing campaigns, including planning, buying, budgeting, and optimization
  • Develop analytic reports for social communities and paid advertising campaigns to properly measure effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for strategy and improvements
  • Monitor social media conversations and trends to identify opportunities for clients to leverage story telling opportunities in real-time
  • Stay apprised of social trends, research and best practices to identify new opportunities and solutions for clients

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years digital project management experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing social communities for brands, companies, nonprofits or issue-based organizations.
  • Proficiency with social management platforms, such as Hootsuite or Sprout
  • Proficiency in Google Adwords
  • Ability to think creatively and spot trends
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

PR Account Executive

Story Partners, a leading Washington, D.C.-based public affairs firm, is seeking an account executive to serve as an integral part of our team, implementing media relations and social media programs for a variety of corporate and association clients.

 Responsibilities:

  • Support team members in implementing public affairs programs on behalf of clients
  • Drive media relations efforts by developing media lists, pitching stories and building relationships with reporters
  • Write and distribute press releases, op-eds, articles, fact sheets, backgrounders, etc.
  • Pitch press releases and feature stories across print, broadcast and online
  • Schedule media interviews and editorial meetings for clients
  • Create and manage editorial calendars
  • Create social media content and content strategies

Story Partners, a leading Washington, D.C.-based public affairs firm, is seeking a Director of Digital and Social Media to provide leadership to clients and staff on multi-channel digital engagement programs.  Responsibilities include community management and strategy, digital content development, influencer engagement, online media buying, social analytics and website strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a digital and social media strategist advising staff and clients on the development and execution of online marketing and public affairs campaigns
  • Oversee the development of innovative content strategies for posting across web, social media, blogs, mobile and email platforms
  • Ensure online strategies are integrated with overall branding, messaging, earned media and public affairs activities, and aligned with campaign goals
  • Oversee planning and execution of online advertising campaigns, including search, display, contextual and social media platforms
